12 Angry Men

In watching this movie I think it shows everyone that when doing an argument or debate you have to look at all of the details (evidence)before you can come up with the right conclusion. Mr. Davis uses logic and reasoning by looking at every little evidence he could come up with and related it to how another person would react in the same situation. That is why I think his argument was so effective and opened some of the other jurors eyes. I don't feel that any of his arguments where ineffective. One example, for instance he did to prove the evidence was right, was trying to prove to everyone that there was no way it only took an old man who had a stroke 15 sec. to get from his bedroom to the door to see the boy run down the stairs. He got a layout of apartment and walked it himself and proved that it would of at least taken him 40 sec. to walk it instead of 15 sec. But all in all, I think this was a great movie to show because it really did relate to some of things that we have been over throughout the semester. I am so glad that the other jurors started to see where Mr. Davis was coming from, cause he was right! :)

Glad you enjoyed the film and the logic that went behind Juror #8/Mr. Davis' argument - yay for justice!
